Questions
Can people hear it?
Most adults cannot hear above about 16 kHz, but children and young people often can. Below that the tone is clearly audible.
Will my phone play 22 kHz?
Many phone speakers are weak above 18 kHz. If your dog does not react, try a lower pitch.
Does it stop barking?
A whistle is a training signal, not a punishment. It works best as a cue your dog learns with rewards.
Is it safe for dogs?
Use a moderate volume and short bursts. Never hold the phone right next to a dog’s ears.
